Welcome to a Field day – 26TH JUNE 2025, at Hirsala Golf, Finland
In collaboration with the Finnish Greenkeepers Association, we invite all interested to join this field-day where you can see demonstration trials and hear updates about the two STERF projects focusing on maintenance of high-quality and drought resistant fairways with robotic mowing.
Fairways4Future compares robotic versus manual mowing and investigates how the two mowing systems affect turfgrass quality and coverage of broadleaf weeds.
FairWater II focus on the use of different mechanical treatments and soil surfactants to improve drought resistance on fairways.
NIBIO is responsible for both Projects in collaboration with the involved golf courses. Fairways4Future is funded by Husqvarna and STERF. FairWater II is funded by STERF and The R&A.
